Future for Ritschow operates several projects to develop the infrastructure in Ritschow and Zhitkovichi. To date a kindergarten, a gym, a school dining room, a school kitchen and a cultural house have been renovated and furnished in Ritschow. The state hospital in Zhitkovichi received a new gastroscope. A renovation of the children’s station is also being planned. The hospital is responsible for 40,000 people in the region. The state high school in Zhitkovichi is also supported by various projects.

The support programs for children and young people include regular summer holidays with medical examinations and treatments in Germany and the support of trainees and students in Belarus.

The annual budget of the organization is about EUR 100,000. In addition to contributions from members and private donations from Germany, France, Canada and Switzerland, the association also receives funding from such organizations as the Goethe Institute, Robert Bosch Foundation, and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. Membership as of March 2023 was 99 families, meaning that around 400 people are involved with the organization.
